How Long Does it Take for a Wart to Fall off with Apple Cider Vinegar

The length of time it can take for a wart to fall off when treated with apple cider vinegar will depend on each person’s body, whether or not their immune system is strong. Generally, the wart may take 1 to 2 weeks to fall off using apple cider vinegar.

However, don’t focus solely on removing the wart, as it will reappear. Warts are caused by the human papillomavirus. And if you don’t eliminate the virus, the symptoms will return. Click here to explain how to eliminate the virus.

For this treatment, you only need to have apple cider vinegar, preferably organic, cotton, and tape or a bandage. The procedure is as follows:

  1. Clean and dry the area where the wart is located very well. You should wash your hands well before and after treatment to prevent it from spreading to other parts of the body.
  2. In a clean container, combine two parts vinegar with one part water.
  3. Soak a piece of cotton in the solution and place it directly on the wart. Secure it with a tape or bandage. Let it act for a few hours, preferably overnight.
  4. After this time, remove the cotton and repeat this procedure twice a day until the lesion is removed. We recommend that once the wart falls off, continue with the treatment for a few days to prevent infected cells from appearing elsewhere.

If you are going to apply it on your hands or on the plantar area, you should dilute these ingredients in a spacious container in equal parts. Soak the affected area for 15 minutes every day.

This treatment is not recommended for treating genital warts or open wounds. Remember that the acid is abrasive and can burn sensitive areas.

In case you feel pain, burning, or see that the area is reddened when applying the treatment, we recommend that you remove the cotton and rinse with plenty of water. If necessary, do not hesitate to go to the doctor. Make sure you have diluted the vinegar correctly.

Apple cider vinegar, because of its therapeutic properties, has become one of the most effective natural remedies in the treatment against warts. It is an inexpensive and painless option to remove the lesion.

Apple cider vinegar is widely used to remove warts because one of its ingredients is acetic acid. It stands out for its antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties.

Because of all the benefits attributed to it, many people have not only included it in their daily diet, but they also take on an empty stomach 1 to 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar diluted in a glass of water.

It can also be used, as we have already seen, as a topical treatment. When applied to the lesion, the vinegar destroys the infected tissue causing it to fall off.
