Warts are a condition that can often appear on the face, neck, and limbs. They are almost always harmless, but very unsightly. You can see a doctor or also apply some home method with ingredients like salt or saltwater.
Next, we will enumerate and explain the different ways you have to remove warts with salt…
Salt and lemon to remove warts
Salt has a high content of minerals. This makes it a powerful exfoliant that cleanses the skin of impurities and dead cells. Likewise, lemon has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and healing properties.
Therefore, the combination of salt and lemon turns out to be a good method for removing warts. The best salt to use in this process is sea salt because it has a higher mineral content. However, pink Himalayan salt can also be effective.
It’s a simple procedure in which you just need to follow a few steps:
- Cut a small piece of lemon with the peel.
- Roast it on the grill with the peel side down.
- When the peel is already hot, add a little bit of salt.
- Apply it to the wart, and secure it with a small piece of hypoallergenic tape.
- You should repeat the process for 9 days. The piece of lemon should be replaced daily.
However, it is not enough just to eliminate the symptoms of HPV, as the virus will remain in your body and these symptoms will reappear again and again. What you should do is eliminate the virus from your body. Click here to see how to do it.
Treatment with salt and vaseline
Another option to remove warts using salt is to combine it with vaseline. To do this, you should prepare a paste by adding as much salt as possible to a certain amount of vaseline. The area to be treated is covered with this preparation every night and protected with an adhesive dressing.
By applying this treatment, the wart tends to disappear in about six weeks.
Saltwater immersion baths
This procedure involves taking 15-minute immersion baths in water to which six heaping tablespoons of sea salt have been added. The frequency of the baths is twice a week. After repeating them for more than two weeks, the first results begin to be achieved.
There are also claims that Epsom salts or bath salts baths are effective due to their high magnesium content, dissolved in warm water.
Once the water is prepared, immerse the wart for ten minutes. It is worth mentioning that this is possible, as long as there are no wounds or any type of infection.
Epsom salts can cause skin irritation in some people. In these cases, it is advisable to rinse with clean water immediately and not to repeat the procedure.
Using salt in different ways or combined with other ingredients, turns out to be an effective treatment for dealing with warts. The end result is that the wart dries up, which can simplify the task of burning it off, thus eliminating the wart permanently without the need for a scalpel.
These were some tips to help you know how to deal with HPV. However, there is much more you need to do if you really want to get rid of HPV and warts forever.
What you need to do is GET RID OF THE ROOT of the problem.
